Care Worker / Support Worker

What is the role

Care workers help vulnerable people manage their daily activities and live as independently as possible. You can work in a care home setting or support people in their own homes, supported living environments and in the community

What does it involve

Your daily tasks will depend on the needs of the person you’re caring for
You will work with a range of people including those with learning disability, mental health conditions and older people
You can work with people of all ages

Salary range

from £23,600 to £25,700

Entry qualifications required

No formal qualifications however you may be asked for qualifications showing good English and number skills such as GCSE’s in English and Maths.
