Care Workers Team Leader / Supervisor

What is the role

Lead or supervise a team of care workers to ensure they provide high quality care and support in care homes or coordinating domiciliary carers in the community.

What does it involve

  • Managing and supporting workers so they can perform their roles safely and to the best of their ability
  • Supporting the manager to run the workplace according to standards and legislation
  • Acting as a positive role model to colleagues
  • Developing care plans for individual’s needs
  • Leading team meetings and supervision
  • Working in partnership with other professionals to ensure individuals get the support they need

Salary range

from £25,533 to £33,086

Entry qualifications required

No formal qualifications required, however good leadership skills and good english are important. Also a social care qualification is desirable.
